Bio

Laura has an MFA in Creative Writing from Chatham University and mostly writes about triumphant family love. Her prose poetry and nonfiction work have appeared in Apple Valley Review, Brevity’s Nonfiction Blog, Entropy Magazine, The Red Clay Review, The Fourth River, Quiet Lightning’s print journal sPARKLE & bLINK, and on Perspectives, a storytelling segment on KQED public radio. With Northern California as her backdrop and the rust belt at her roots, she is writing her first book.

This winter, Laura has prose poems about crows, camping, and a watchdog sycamore tree forthcoming in Coal Hill Review.
